Kendyl | Cincinnati Newborn Photographer

Posted on February 11, 2010

As promised, in my previous post with an outtake of the lovely Miss Kendyl sticking her tongue out at me…here are some of her from the session. Kendyl’s mom had a rough delivery/recovery then poor Kendyl was diagnosed with reflux, so a tough start for the both of them.  Happy to report that they are both doing great now and at 6 weeks she was ready for her photo session.  She is just too cute for words and even gave me a few smiles.  Thanks to my neighbors, Lindsay & Jared for letting me photograph her!

I don’t want to leave out the other little princess that was photographed during the session, this is Reese who is suffering from some sibling rivalry issues since her little sister Kendyl arrived.  Reese would jump up in the bean bag every time Kendyl was picked up and would lay down and pose for me, how could I resist that face?  We love Reese and have been fortunate to dog sit her in the past, she always makes a nice addition to our house with our 2 dachshunds.

Mine on Monday | Cincinnati photographer

Posted on February 1, 2010

Many of my wonderful photographer friends have started doing theme days on their blogs and well today I will give a Mine on Monday a try.  A wonderful local wedding photographer friend of mine, Brenda Pottinger of Pottinger Photography, borrowed a lens of mine over the weekend.  She was in a bind because Nikon had her 24-70 lens for repair and she had a wedding to shoot this past weekend.  I happily obliged and she was so sweet to return it to me today and in return allowed me to borrow her 70-200 vr to take for a test drive.  All I can say is WOW what a lens!  Thanks to Brenda and her hubby Ben for meeting me for lunch today…had a great time chatting with you guys!

I snapped a pic of my little dachshunds today and thought this was such a sweet capture of them.  Rusty, the red one, is our rescue dachshund and wow he is such a loving little man and adores our black & tan female, Macy.  I love these little doggies, they always make me smile!
